The yard has confirmed two of its recent launches will be at the show.

Feadship has confirmed that its line-up for the 2015 Monaco Yacht Show will include the 46.4-metre Kiss and 44.2-metre Moon Sand, both launched earlier this year.
Kiss, fittingly launched on Valentine’s Day, bears more than a passing resemblence to the 2014 Baccarat SuperYacht World Award-winner Como. The yacht is styled outside by Ed Dubois and inside by Redman Whitely Dixon – the same team responsible for Como – but Feadship director Henk de Vries makes clear the difference between the two: “Even though Como and Kiss have similar looks, they are very different yachts,” he says.
“The owner of Kiss required a more conventional speed of 16 knots, compared to Como’s 19, so she has a different power plant. And while Como has an open-top deck, Kiss has a complete master penthouse on the upper deck. This added both volume and weight to the yacht, requiring a revised lines plan,” he says.
Moon Sand launched in April from the Dutch yard’s Makkum facility. Unlike recent high-profile launches from the yard, Moon Sand was designed by the in-house team at Feadship, with interiors by Bannenberg & Rowell. Although at the smaller end of Feadship’s recent launches, the yacht is highly specified, and built for experienced owners who knew what they wanted. The yard says: “The detailed design brief can be summarised in three key elements – namely light, space and freedom of choice in terms of recreation.”
Owner’s representative James Hutchinson says: “Even the smallest details are important to Moon Sand’s owners and I am proud to have been a part of this project. Working with Feadship makes everything achievable as they know that the key to a truly magnificent yacht is not just what you see, but also the meticulous attention to detail that you don’t. Moon Sand is the result of a collective passion from the owners, designer and shipyard to deliver a truly exceptional yacht and – as one of the most specified ever in her class – she is precisely that.”
